NBN SkillTrack Knowledge Assessment

This online assessment administered by CERTLOC evaluates knowledge across key underground asset locating disciplines. The assessment supports learning and development by identifying knowledge strengths and opportunities for further development.

Assessment Structure

The assessment consists of 30 questions and includes a combination of multiple-choice, scenario-based and graphic interpretation questions. Questions are randomly selected from a larger question bank.

Questions are designed to assess knowledge and decision-making in practical locating scenarios, including plan interpretation, equipment use, field procedures, locating techniques and risk awareness.

Assessment Process

Participants complete a single assessment attempt. Upon completion of the assessment, participants will receive their assessment outcome and any applicable learning and development recommendations.

A CERTLOC NBN SkillTrack Statement of Completion will be issued to acknowledge participation in and completion of the assessment process.

Participants who wish to undertake a further assessment attempt may request access to a second full assessment by contacting CERTLOC at [email protected]. Approval and access will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
