This training supports organisations and workers in strengthening safe work practices, reducing the likelihood of utility strikes and helping to protect people, projects and critical infrastructure.

This course has been designed in conjunction with a Tier 1 civil contractor, for civil contractors. It is ideal for anyone involved in planning and delivering ground-disturbing work including:

  • Project Engineers

  • HSEQ and Compliance Personnel

This course can be tailored to suit your organisations needs, and can include:

  • In-depth explanation and analysis of utility plans
  • Understanding the AS 5488 Classification of Subsurface Utilities, and why it’s important
  • Specialist sessions with utility representatives (e.g. power, gas and telecommunications) to discuss real site excavation issues, worker safety and answer any of your questions
  • Presentation of a risk management template for efficient utility location
