Locator Development Sessions are practical, field-based training sessions designed to strengthen capability and support ongoing professional development for underground asset locators. Delivered in real-world environments, these sessions provide targeted skills development tailored to individual or organisational needs.
Sessions can focus on addressing specific skills gaps, reinforcing best practice, strengthening confidence in the use of locating equipment and techniques, or supporting participants who are preparing for CERTLOC Certified Locator assessment.
Through hands-on learning and practical guidance from experienced trainers, participants gain valuable experience applying locating principles in the field and developing consistent and reliable locating practices.
Suitable for both developing and experienced locators, these sessions support organisations and individuals in strengthening workforce capability, improving confidence in the field and contributing to safer excavation outcomes.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for CERTLOC Certified Locators
CERTLOC Certified Locators who successfully complete these sessions will be awarded 50 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), credited towards certification renewal and contributing to ongoing professional development.
As 50 CEUs are required within the two-year certification period, successful completion satisfies the full CEU requirement for the current renewal cycle.
