Robert Row

CEO
With over 30 years of experience in the construction and training industries, Rob is a seasoned Senior Executive. His career includes serving as National CEO of the Civil Contractors Federation Australia and holding prominent roles such as National Chair and State President for Group Training Australia, and Director of Construction Skills Queensland. Rob is a recognised authority in utility damage prevention, having spoken at major conferences worldwide. Currently, as CEO of CERTLOC Ltd, Rob leads initiatives to enhance utility damage prevention through Locator Certification. Holding an MBA and being a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, Rob is dedicated to advancing industry skills and safety.

  • I found the locator training conducted by Steve Wood to be very effective and an improvement on the training previously conducted for the issue of my RIICCM202E Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services. The effectiveness of the training was more evident and the explanations were better understood for application in the field. I would recommend this training to all operators as it was well delivered and provided real situations in its simulations to identify changes in services which were not well covered in other training I had completed. The training materials are also an effective reference and can be easily searched due to significant pictures and diagrams to show relevant scenarios.

  • I have been in the industry for 20-odd years. I attended the 1-Day Underground Asset Location Program. What a great course. I have done heaps of courses, and this is the best one I’ve ever attended. Why didn’t I know about this course ages ago? I’ve been to courses where you’re rushed through. It’s a tick-and-flick exercise. Not this course. I would say to anyone go to the course and you’re going to learn.
